We are pleased to announce that ASUS IoT unveiled the new RUC-1000 series of rack-mounted edge AI computers at Computex 2025, designed for demanding industrial applications and harsh environments.
State-of-the-art AI performance
- The RUC-1000G model is the world's first edge AI computer capable of supporting 600W GPUs with PCIe 5.0, achieving up to 4000 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second) for real-time AI training and inference.
- This enables complex computer vision, generative AI, intelligent video analysis, and industrial automation workloads to be executed with maximum speed and accuracy.
- The system features the latest Intel Core Ultra 200S processors and up to 64GB of DDR5 memory, operating stably between -25°C and 60°C thanks to an advanced thermal dissipation system that separates the main chassis from the GPU chassis, preventing performance degradation even in extreme industrial environments.
Versatility and industrial design
- The RUC-1000G adopts a standard 19-inch 2U rack modular format, compatible with NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs and with full rack, half rack, wall or desktop mounting options, facilitating its integration into existing industrial infrastructures.
- It incorporates the ASUS Q-Release Slim system for tool-free GPU removal, simplifying maintenance and reducing mechanical risks.
RUC-1000D model: robustness and storage
- The RUC-1000D is a fanless half-rack edge computer, ideal for industrial automation and smart cities, with support for up to six 2.5" SSDs in RAID 0/1/5/10 configurations and optional hot-swap chassis.
- It offers advanced connectivity: 10GbE LAN, dual 2.5GbE, ten USB ports, six COM ports, and M.2 slots for NVMe, 4G/5G and WiFi 6, operating in an extended temperature range from -25°C to 70°C.
Cybersecurity and remote management
- Both models comply with the IEC 62443-4-1 standard for industrial cybersecurity and feature an iBMC module for out-of-band (OOB) remote management, enabling monitoring, rapid recovery and minimisation of downtime.
- They are MIL-STD-810H certified and support 8-48V DC power with power control, ensuring reliability in critical edge applications.
