Steliau Technology France introduces two new displays based on Cholesteric LCD (Ch-LCD) bistable technology

Unlike conventional LCD screens, cholesteric liquid crystal displays (Ch-LCDs) operate without a backlight.
They can retain a static image with zero power consumption, making them ideal for CSR strategies, challenging environments, or locations without a constant power supply.
These displays remain perfectly visible in direct sunlight, offer a wide 178° viewing angle, and stay fully legible even at sub-zero temperatures.

  • Color display without backlight: excellent readability under all lighting conditions
  • Zero power consumption in static display mode
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use (operating temperature range: -20 °C to +60 °C)
  • Remote management capabilities: image updates, carousels, sleep schedules, cloud synchronization
  • Rugged construction: galvanized steel enclosure
